Working Principle
The Mono Cyclone 30 operates on the principle of centrifugal force to efficiently separate granular and heavy dust particles from aspiration air before filtration. Dust-laden air enters the cyclone body tangentially at high velocity, creating a controlled spiral airflow inside the cylindrical chamber. As the air rotates, centrifugal force pushes heavier particles such as grain residues, bran fragments, straw particles, stone dust, and coarse contaminants toward the outer cyclone walls.
When these heavier particles collide with the internal walls, they lose kinetic energy and gradually slide downward along the conical section under the effect of gravity. This separation process allows granular material to be isolated from the airflow without disturbing the pressure balance of the aspiration system. The separated particles are collected at the bottom of the cyclone and discharged in a controlled and airtight manner through a rotary airlock valve, preventing air leakage and ensuring continuous operation.
Meanwhile, the cleaned and lighter air stream moves upward through the central vortex and exits from the top outlet of the Mono Cyclone 30. This clean air is then safely directed to the filter unit, significantly reducing the dust load on filter bags. By preventing granular material from reaching the filtration stage, the Mono Cyclone 30 extends filter service life, minimizes bag damage, stabilizes airflow, and improves overall aspiration efficiency in flour mills, grain cleaning sections, semolina plants, corn flour mills, whole wheat flour lines, feed factories, and recycling facilities.
